Girl Scout Service Projects

Girl Scouts always wants to instill a sense of community in all of its members, and one way to instill a sense of community is to give back to the camp community. Girl Scout Troops are known for giving back. Any Girl Scout can tell you that it is better to give then receive. Community service projects at Girl Scout camps are one way that we instill courage, confidence, and character in every Girl Scout. Here are some great ideas for community service projects at our Council Properties:

Trailblazers
Would you like to help keep our hiking trails in tip-top shape for girls to enjoy? Do you like working outdoors with your troop? Then we have the service project for you! With the help of the Camp Rangers, your troop can learn about conservation principles, explore the camp's natural resources and earn service hours while helping to camp trails. To schedule a date or time, contact Sabrina Winfield at 804-746-0590 x305 or [email protected].

Camp Keepers
Become a Camp Keeper and join us for a day of service. Your troop has the opportunity to help at camp and make a difference. Whether you like working inside or outside, we have projects for all interests! Come out to camp for an afternoon of service and fun.

If you are interested in leading a specific project, contact Sabrina Winfield at 804-746-0590 x305 or [email protected].
