Girl Scouts of the Commonwealth of Virginia partners with the Central Virginia USO for council-wide Sharing Program – affectionately known as Cookie Share.
Our goal each year is to donate 20,000 boxes of cookies from the Girl Scout Cookie Program. To make things easier on you, we are going to handle the transportation and delivery to the USO. A presentation of all the cookies donated through Cookie Share will occur at the Richmond International Airport on a date to be determined once the Girl Scout Cookie Program ends in the spring. We hope you will be able to join us as we spread joy to the men and women who serve our country by letting them know we care.
We believe that Cookie Share will give Girl Scouts the opportunity to see how their hard work and dedication to Girl Scouting makes the world a better place, one soldier at a time. Won't you join us?
Advantages of the Gift of Caring through Cookie Share
- Leadership Experience: The Cookie Share Program allows girls to take action on behalf of their community while sharpening their own entrepreneurial talents and skills.
- Cookie Share Patch: Girls who sell 12 or more boxes for Cookie Share will receive a special edition patch.
- Who's Buying? The program gives buyers, who do not want to purchase items for themselves, a great way to support two groups they care about: service personnel and local Girl Scouts!
