Be part of history with the first-ever overnight in our new GSCV
Richmond Service Center! This special overnight experience is designed
just for younger Girl Scouts and includes everything they love-music,
movement, creativity, and connection.
Saturday
Night (7:30-9:30 PM):
Kick things off with our Groove-n-Glow dance party! Under black
lights and surrounded by glow sticks, girls will dance, laugh, and let
their energy shine during this fan-favorite event. We encourage girls
to decorate white shirts or accessories ahead of time to make their
outfits pop under the lights.
Slumber Party:
The fun doesn't stop when the music ends! After the party,
girls will roll out their sleeping bags and enjoy a cozy indoor
camp-in with sister Girl Scouts from across the council. We'll keep
the excitement going with bedtime snacks and bonding.
Sunday Morning (8:30-10:00 AM):
Wake up to Discovery Day, a hands-on exploration of the coolest
spaces in our Service Center. Girls will rotate through exciting
stations like the Maker's Space, Test Kitchen, and Podcast
Studio-designed to inspire creativity, confidence, and
curiosity.
Whether your Girl Scout is in it for the
dancing, the discovery, or the full overnight adventure, this is her
chance to shine, connect, and try something new in a safe, welcoming environment.
Please note: This is not a drop-off event. Troops should plan to have enough adults to meet the girl-to-adult ratio outlined in the program guide, and any individual girl must have a registered adult on-site. All girl and adult attendees must be current members of Girl Scouts. To ensure the safety of all Girl Scouts, adults attending events must have a current Girl Scout membership and background check on file. If you need to register an additional adult or have any questions about your membership status or background check, contact gshelper@comgirlscouts.org
