New online options for customers

Order online and pay at the time of delivery: If the customer chooses to purchase cookies online for girl delivery and not pay for the cookies at the time of ordering, this is considered a “promise order.” Payment will be collected when the cookies are delivered.

Order and pay online for girl delivery: This option allows customers to order through an eCard invitation or link and prepay with a credit card. Girls will deliver the cookies. This option allows for easy, contactless, front-door delivery.

Order online to be direct shipped (50% off shipping for some orders): This option allows for cookies to be purchased online and shipped directly to the address of choice. Also, as a 2021 pilot project, GSCV is subsidizing 50% of the shipping cost for orders in increments of 6-12 packages.

Cookie Program Rewards

Girl Scouts are on a mission, and we’re here to support you and recognize your hard work. Our council has put together cool rewards to inspire you to meet your goals and reach for the stars. A full list of recognitions is provided below; recognitions are cumulative. Based on feedback from girls, we expanded our recognitions in 2021; here are just a few of this year’s recognitions:

  • patch and plush bee at 200 (the council’s per-girl goal)
  • “Frozen” behind-the-scenes webinar at 750
  • create your own Vans at 1,250
  • kayak or wireless earbuds at 1,500
  • sewing machine at 2,000
  • media kit (TV and vlogging equipment) at 3,000

Important note: The printed 2021 recognition information that was provided to troops and girls contained an error that has been corrected in this online version. The correct number of packages needed to earn a portable movie screen or two season passes to Kings Dominion is 2,500.

COVID-19: There is nothing GSCV takes more seriously than the safety and well-being of our girls, volunteers and staff members. COVID-19 guidelines that apply to girls and volunteers at in-person gatherings (including cookie booths) are available at (Guidelines are updated as necessary, so please check the website regularly.) Guidelines include:

  • pre-screening including temperature check
  • wearing masks
  • practicing social distance
  • washing hands or using hand sanitizer
  • cleaning surfaces

Safety is always first:

  • We encourage all girls be accompanied by someone age 18 or older when selling or delivering product outside of their home.
  • Remind your Girl Scout to wear her Girl Scout uniform, pin or something to identify her as a Girl Scout.
  • Girl Scouts should not enter another person’s home. All order taking and cookie deliveries should be made at the door.
  • Girls should not give their own phone number, address or last name to customers.
  • Always sell during daylight and with another person.
  • Girls should not carry large sums of money.
