Can't Wait!

Girls in grades K-12 can't wait to be part of the largest organization for girls on the planet! At Girl Scouts, you never know what adventure await! You might explore the solar system, venture on a nature hike, become a weather watcher, write and star in a play, enjoy a scavenger hunt, or take an amazing trip. The most amazing part is you'll do it with other girls and caring adults who just might become your friends forever.

So if you can't wait, Girl Scouts is here to inspire you to roll up your sleeves, help your community, earn badges and awards, and enjoy Girl Scout journeys, an exciting way to learn about leadership. Whatever your interest, Girl Scouts has it.

Develop Leadership Skills

Girls today believe that a leader is defined not only by the qualities and skills one has, but also by how those qualities and skills are used to make a difference in the world. In their own words, they want to be the type of leader who "stands up for his or her beliefs and values," and "tries to change the world for the better." Leadership is "knowing what you believe and putting it into action." As the world becomes more complex and uncertain, understanding how girls see leadership is crucial.
