Introduction

Proceeds from the Girl Scout Product Sales Program provide fund for troop activities and help underwrite council programs. In addition to providing funds for troop activities, this program offers experiences that meet the needs of girls and enable them to grow and develop qualities fundamental to the purpose of Girl Scouting, like leadership, strong values, social conscience and conviction about their own potential and self-worth.

Through participation in this program, girls will have an opportunity to be involved in acclivities an experiences tat enable them to:

develop to their full individual potential
relate to others with increasing understanding skill and respect
develop values to guide her actions and provide the foundation for sound decision-making
contribute to the improvement of society through the use of her abilities and leadership skills,working in cooperation with others

Girl Scout Commonwealth Council of Virginia Inc. (GSCC) strictly adheres to Girl Scouts of the U.S.A. (GSUSA) standard that council sponsored sales are program related.
