• Commit to a Girl

The Annual Fund/Family Campaign theme is , “Commit to a Girl.” The theme underscores the organization’s mission of developing girls for future leadership and service for contributing to an improved society. It is important for the community to see that our board and internal family which include leaders, parents, volunteers, staff and friends of Girl Scouting are committed to Girl Scouting and that we support the fund development programs of the organization. All proceeds help to ensure the continual financial health and viability of the local Girl Scout council.

• Tributes and Memorials

In Memory of or In Honor of Designated Contribution Level

Recognizing active or past volunteers through tributes or memorializing the dedication of those who have passed away can be done by making a gift in the name of that person.  A gift to Girl Scouts Commonwealth Council in memory of a loved one or friend or in honor of a special event such as birthday, wedding or Bronze, Silver or Gold Award is lasting way to honor a love one.  An individual, parent, relative or friend who makes a $100 contribution to the Commit to a Girl/ Family Campaign in this category will receive a memorial brick that will be placed at the Tribute Garden at Pamunkey  Ridge Girl Scout Camp.
