Girl Scout Levels

Come experience the fun, friendship and power of girls together! All girls grades K-12 are welcome. The Girl Scout Leadership Experience identifies three “keys” to leadership:

Discover: Girls understand themselves and their values an use their knowledge and skills to explore the world.

Connect: Girls care about, inspire and team with others locally and globally.

Take Action: Girls act to make the world a better place.

All experiences in Girl Scouting incorporate the Discover, Connect and Take action keys to leadership. Girl Scout experiences are also girl led, encourage learning by doing, and cooperative learning. These three processes promote the fun and friendship that have always been integral to Girl Scouting.

Any girl who meets or can meet membership requirements shall not be denied admission or access to Girl Scout program because of race, color, ethnicity, creed, national origin, socioeconomic status or disability. Reasonable accommodations shall be made for girls with disabilities to ensure that girls have access to activities.

Membership Requirements

Membership as a Girl Scout is granted to any girl who:

• has made the Girl Scout Promise and accepted the Girl Scout Law,
• has paid annual membership dues,
• meets applicable membership standards. (The Girl Scout membership year is October 1 through September 30)
