Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteer Positions in Girl Scouting - There is one that’s right for you!

In selection of adults, there shall be no discrimination on the basis of race, color, ethnicity, sex, creed, national origin, or socioeconomic status.
There shall be no discrimination against an otherwise qualified individual by reason of disability or on the basis of age.

All new volunteers with Girl Scout Commonwealth Council are required to complete a Volunteer Application, give permission to do a background check and obtain a minimum of three personal references from non-relatives. Please ask the individuals from whom you will be obtaining references to return them in a sealed envelope.

You can then mail your Volunteer Application, Authorization to Release Information andCompeted references to:

Also enclose $1.50 to pay for the background check, make checks payable to GSCC.

    WITH EACH POSITION, YOU WILL GET:

    • In-service training
    • On-the-job supervision

     

    TIME REQUIRED VARIES FROM:

    • A few hours weekly
    • A few hours monthly
    • One long day or weekend
