Membership
Girl Scout Commonwealth Council of Virginia, Inc, (GSCC) serves more than 16,000 girls and 5,700 adults in 30 counties and the cities of Emporia, Colonial Heights, Hopewell, Petersburg, Richmond, and Fredericksburg. GSCC is one of eight councils that serve the state of Virginia. Membership is open to any adult female or male, who is committed to furthering the mission, goals and successes of Girl Scouts. Girl Scouts welcomes girls of all religions, nationalities, economic backgrounds and abilities. All Adults, ages 18 and older, can become members.
How to Join
The Girl Scout membership year is October 1 through September 30.The annual membership fee to be a member of Girl Scouts of the USA is $12. This includes accident insurance to cover participants in Girl Scout Activities. For membership registration, please go to Forms & Resources for an Adult Membership Registration form.
