Sports Day

Sports day will be held on October 1st at Saint Claire Brooks Park from 11 AM - 4 PM.  Girls will have the opportunity to explore sports opportunities available in the greater Fredericksburg area at their leisure.  All girls will have the opportunity to earn the Presidential Fitness patch.  There will also be opportunities to schedule time for activities at the park and the YMCA on Butler Blvd.  Limited Swim time is available.  Not all girls will get to participate in every activity including swimming.  Cost is $4.00 per girl or $40.00 per troop.  Troops must register before September 15th with a tentative roster and submit a complete roster at the event to get the troop rate.  All girls must be chaperoned according to Safety-wise ratios by a parent or troop leader.   Girls and troops should bring water bottles, lunch, and snacks.  Girls who are not attending with a troop may attend with an adult chaperone.

 Joining fees at the YMCA will be waived that day for all registered Girl Scouts and their families. The public will have the opportunity to register for Girl Scouts that day.
