MembershipGirl Scout Commonwealth Council of Virginia, Inc, (GSCC) serves more than 18,405 girls and 5,286 adults in 30 counties within the cities of Emporia, Colonial Heights, Hopewell, Petersburg, Richmond, and Fredericksburg. GSCC is one of eight councils which serves the state of Virginia. Membership is open to any adult female or male, who is committed to furthering the mission, goals and successes of Girl Scouts. Girl Scouts welcomes girls of all religions, nationalities, econonmic backgounds and abilities. All Adults, ages 18 and older, can become members. How to JoinThe annual membership fee to be a member of Girl Scouts of the USA is $10. This includes accident insurance which covers partipant in Girl Scout Activities. To ensure that all girls and adults can particiapte in Girl Scouts financial assistance may be requested from the council.
